Encourage people to join your group, or treat your group to free use of the coolest BubbleSub in SL :-)

To use the rezzer, just place it on your dock next to your water and set it to the appropriate group. There are arrows on the side of the rezzer which you should point towards the water.
The water at the rez point needs to be at least 3 metres deep and clear of obstructions.

When a group member clicks the sign, a sub is rezzed 3 metres in front of it, which will then set itself into the water. Your member can then right-click --> 'Board' the sub to use it.
The sub tells the user how to get instructions and a depth HUD once they are seated inside and they are free to explore underwater.
Non-group members, or those without the group title active, get a message saying to join the group.
(see my other items for a group joiner script)

The submarine features operational propellers, rudders and dive planes, and an on board compass on the control panel for help with navigation. Also fitted are two floodlights activated by a switch, as it gets quite dark in deep water.

The submersible delete themselves when left unused, so minimising the use of prims on your land.

Notes
-------
The owner of the rezzer needs to have build rights on the land where it is located in order for it to work.
To rez a sub you must have 32 free prims allowance on the land.
The rezzer prim is copy and also modifiable, in case you need to adjust its size etc, but do not delete any of its contents as this will cause malfunctions.
The rezzed subs can be operated by group members only.
The rezzed subs are copy only.
The subs only work in proper 'Linden' water. They will not work out of water.

I welcome feedback about my creations, so please let me know if you have any problems, or have suggestions for improvements.

  • Provide free use submersible submarine to your group members
  • Great to explore underwater environments
  • Features moving propellers, dive planes and rudders
  • Floodlights and compass

I got this for the underwater part of my Sim and at first when I rezzed one it, by default, went to the surface. I IM'd the maker and she very kindly made me a special under sea lunch version. The sub itself is fun to pilot and well made. Keep up the good work!
