Here it is... WITH TIGHTENED SCRIPTS! (updated 6 july09)

***for use with your own landscaping***

10 prims, 5.5x5.5x1 m size

controllable by HUD or public sign

Massive particle and sculpted rock burst,

Permanent smoke possible

Light and sound effects (use the included water 2 lava scipts for a more inpressive sound experience!)

Water/ lava changer script included to create waterfalls that turn into lava!

Different eruption intervals possible (2 min, 15 min, 30 min, 60 min (default) and 120 min)

MONO scripted

Low lag (0.018ms when not erupting - around 0.100 ms in full action)

This is the flexible volcano module for every builder, landscaper and virtual gardener. Terraform your own volcano and place the volvano engine box inside of it. Hide it and youre done.

Every hour (by default) a glow will appear at the top and it begins to smoke - it will soon start an eruption!
A particle flame shoots 50 meters into the sky and the engine begins to rumble .
It spits glowing, smoking, sculpted rocks up to 100 meters into the sky.
They do damage (even on most combat systems) if they hit you and some of them are exploding on collision!
The rocks are temporary and will not count upon your total prim amount - they also vanish after 30 seconds!

A great way to attract your visitors or customers - as they can also trigger eruptions with the volcano sign.

The advanced options will only appear to the owner.

***Instructions and walktrough***

* landscape or build any kind of volcano you like to.

*rez the white volcano engine and place it near the top of your volcano. make sure it has enough space to "breathe"!

*rez the sign or wear the hud within 96 meters of the engine.

*click it and select then press the button - the white box will turn invisible.

*you could leave it as it is now, it will erupt every hour automatically and anyone else can trigger eruptions by
clicking the sign and selecting .

***advanced options***

= starts the approx 100 second long burst sequence. (everyone)

+ = makes the engine emit a thin column of smoke permanently or switch it off. (owner only)

= advanced setup options, listed below (owner only)

+ = hides the engine after placement or shows it for repositioning

=sets the eruption interval to 60 minutes from now.

+ =toggles a rotation of the engine to avoid the boulders falling down always at the same place

= sets the eruption interval to the specified time from now (2, 15, 30, 120 minutes + 60 by default)

NOTE: 2 minutes causes almost contious eruptions just with a few seconds break. Ths could really mess up your SIM!
The huge amount of physics enabled sculpted boulders is a heavy load for every server - handle with care!

**additional lava/ water changer***

IMPORTANT: after putting in the scripts set the scripts to running. Tools (at the top menu bar) -> Set Scripts to running in selection.

If you would like to create water falls that turn into lava use the additional script and put it into the water prim.

If you like to use your own water and lava textures use the alternative script. -> rename the textures to "water" and "lava" (without quotes, of course!)

The distance is limited to inside the sim.

If the water doesnt run into the right direction, please use the "rotation (degrees)" feature in the building tool under "textures" tab.

I suggest to make water / lava prims always phantom.

TIP
Link as many water prims as you can and drop one script only into the content tab of the entire object.
