This machinima tool is made of one prim and one script.
From the menu one can manage: start, stop, smoke, size, speed and more.
The prim can be made to face an object or avatar by name.
The camera can be fixed to the prim.
The prim has copy and mod permissions, the script has copy permission.

  • A must for most machinima makers
  • Sit on it, move with it, fix your camera to it
  • Can run forever without a script
  • Randomly creates a new unique route by one button press
  • One smooth closed route is generated by a number of Bézier curves

Problems

Have succeeded only once in getting Prim to 'Look at' object specified - regardless of how many times 'Esc' is prerssed. What am I doing wrong.

Your instructions are not instructions, they are descriptions of what each button on the dialogue box does - we need a work-flow - a list of operations to do to make it work.

Your description suggests that the camera ALONE can be fixed to the prim - I haven't succeeded at all in getting this to work - I have to use the prim as a vehicle and sit my avatar on it and then use mouselook - not at all what I was expected.

What happens if I use 'Kill Script' - is the purchase then rendered useless (uncontrollable)? That is the suggestion in the 'guide'. Alternatively, the guide suggests key-frame (waypoints) on the bezier curve can be set - how are the key-frames set?
