demo for the coyotl
picture is inaccurate
doesn't include a basic texture file so you can see what it looks like
this demo needs a second pair of eyes.
if you were hoping for a demo that actually showed you the coyotl head effectively to inform your purchase, you won't find it here.
there's no textures to actually test what this thing looks like in world with shading like in the marketplace photos. i mistakenly thought that because the HUD has a link to PSDs, with a little modding knowledge i could still utilize SLs temp texture system to make my own BOM layers, but was instead thwarted by the fact that the PSD links to the fatalis head resources and not the coyotl. even then, no one should have to jump through so many hoops just to get a good idea about the product they're purchasing before they purchase it.
hopefully this demo will see an update in the future so curious buyers can appropriately demo the head before they spend their $L.
definitely cerberus' best canine head so far imo
I had already purchased the head at Abnormality, so please don't mind me making the review here - I just wanted to sing my praises for this beautiful head!
Looking at the Canis head and then looking at this head is like a night-and-day difference. Cerberus has improved so much since the Canis head released a few years ago and even comparing this to the more recent C/X Coyote and the Canidae, there's a clear improvement.
This head has so many options it's unreal - apart from the standard awesome stuff you usually get with their heads, like beautifully animated expressions, it also has:
* nose bridge, cheek, chin, and forehead deformers - which allow you to pull off a lot of different looks;
* the options to change your BOM eye rotation with just the click of a button;
* an option to have the nose more flat to allow for different sorts of mods/species (or you can even alpha out the nose and make your own nose mod);
* cheek/ear fluff, teeth caps, animated tears, snot, and bottom lip toggle
* and different controls for the eyes, brows, and mouth!
The tail looks beautiful too - I think it's my favourite canine tail so far as it looks fluffy without being too much.
Appearance wise, the head just looks really cool and sharp. Some may prefer the more cute/cartoony look of the older canine heads and that's OK! But personally I definitely think their style has improved a ton.
Highly recommend this. If you're looking for a canine head that has a ton of different options and looks really cool, this is the head for you.
