The Celtic spiral or triple spiral is sometimes called the spiral of life. They found, for example in Newgrange, a sanctuary from the Bronze Age in Ireland. The triple spiral is a symbol of Celtic culture, and has been used in Celtic art for three thousand years. The Celts believed that all life is in a perpetual cycle, and is regenerated again and again.
