We were visiting one of Sharian’s arcane colleagues. This particular one was neither my master’s favorite nor my own, as his expertise lay in one of the most unsavory branches of arcane knowledge: necromancy. While not an area of magick Sharian favored, he was always adamant that it was not inherently evil. "Life and Death are merely two sides of the same coin, lad. Death is needed for Life, and Life feeds Death." And so, here we were.

We had come seeking knowledge about a certain hidden vault in a lost city—knowledge that could only be obtained by consulting the spirits of the departed. To no one’s surprise, the necromancer’s study was filled with bones, ashes, preserved creatures in jars, and all the other trappings of his somber craft. Yet what truly caught my attention were the candles.

Even the candles spoke of death.

Heavily scented, no doubt to mask the unpleasant odors of his spell components, they were eerily shaped like curving backbones. The vertebrae of the wax seemed so lifelike, each one distinct and carefully crafted. As the flames burned, molten wax dripped down their lengths, giving them the look of bones slowly decaying under time’s relentless touch. Even inanimate objects in this wizard's tower seemed to embody the passage of life into death.

INSTRUCTIONS:

THIS IS A PBR/LEGACY DUAL SET: Has full PBR and backup Legacy Textures, tough the candlesticks will not display accurate metalic textures as PBR

The candles are activated through a click and hold pop-up menu to avoid accidental menu activations in active landscapes. A short click will NOT activate the menu. A click-and hold for approximately 2 seconds is necessary to activate it.

LIGHT: On/Off Switch

FLICKER: On/Off Switch

ColorCandle: Change the candle´s color and the light color it sheds to 10 possible options. Color Light and the emissive color through the ColorEmiss submenu. Changes to the ColorCandle will also affect the color of the wax drips on the candlestick variants with drips.

ColorEmiss: Change the candles' emissive color to 10 Different color choices, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Blue, Purple, Pink, White and Black. The changes will not affect the candle color itself and is also independent from the light color. This option is only viewable in PBR enabled viewers.

Candlestick: You can change the candlestick to 8 possible choices; Burnt Ceramic, Victorian Iron, Victorian Bronze, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Patina and Rust. The candlesticks do not have candles on them on purpose, so you can add your own choice of candle variant, with or without wax drips. You can safely link the candle of your choice with the candlesticks, the extra scripts will auto delete. NOTE*: Although the candlestick submenu is present in the candle variants, because it uses the same scripts, if they are not linked with a candlestick, there will be no changes of course.

ColorLIGHT: Change the candle´s light color. The emissive color of the candles will automatically match the light color (only viewable on PBR enabled viewers).

LightRange: Adjust the strength/light range of the candle´s light to 7 possible choices.

Settings: Takes you to the settings submenu where you can will also find the Light and Flicker on/off switches, in addition, you will find the day cycle automation options

Emissive: Turns On/Off the emissive color in the candles. If this option is off, even if the candle light or flicker are on, the candle itself will not glow. This setting is also passed to Day/Night Automation settings.

Day: Automates Light and Glow, or any combination of these during your region/parcel Day! This option detects the position of the sun in your parcel/region according to the horizon. If the sun position is fixed this option will not work.

Night: Automates Light and Glow, or any combination of these during your region/parcel Night! This option detects the position of the sun in your parcel/region according to the horizon. If the sun position is fixed this option will not work.
