Witch balls have been around and in use for hundreds of years. Prominently noted in the 17th and 18th centuries. They were hung in windows of homes to ward off bad spirits, negativity, evil spells, and ill fortune... and witches.

As for areas that were a little more friendly to the craft and witches. There have also been stories of balls being blessed and empowered by them to aid the owner in certain aspects of life and/or protect them.

Glass fishing floats were often used originally, along side metals of various sorts. Today they are often found hand blown with fanciful patterns in glass.

It is said that negative things are attracted to the shining and joyful designs of these balls. Once inside, the offending presence gets tangled up and stuck in the spires of glass with-in the ball.

How to use your Ball?

Traditionally they are hung in windows, but you can also hang them in corners of rooms, as negativity is said to like those crampy dark recesses. It has also been speculated that this is where the ornaments in the Christmas tree may have originated, so outside in trees is also a beautiful way to use them (Very similar to Bottle trees).

These balls are 100% mesh and materials ready.

They have a very slight rotation to them that you can toggle on and off by clicking the ball.
