The sliding ladder actually slides between one of three positions, accessible via a drop down menu. Sit upon the ladder and choose from 1 of 2 custom animations suited for the ladder, a thinking sit at the bottom of the ladder, and a browsing animation toward the top of the ladder. For those enjoying the bookshelf with a friend, there are 3 very carefully selected couple animations and 1 custom created animation to express a more intimate conversation.

Perhaps you have no need to see the shadows beneath the ladder and bookshelf. The capacity to turn the shadows on/off is via the drop down menu.
