Seriously not worth THIS price
I just bought this the other day... 4000 lindens wasted.
So unhappy with it. Wish creators gave refunds here like in RL.
On a good note though, In the past I bought "City Livings" night time city skyline surround a few years back. That one was over priced too. But I didnt mind losing the 800 linden price cause 800 isnt a lot and that sim surround looked really awesome. THIS ONE here however MODULAR CITY, would cost you thousands of prims just to use for a small background city. What a waste of prims. Not good at all! As for the quality and looks. It is not bad looking. The pic here looks better than it is, but its not bad. Still, it should have been priced under 1000L. Not worth the 4000L I just paid and now it will just sit in my inventory... un-usable waste of money. :(
Expensive, High LI... but gorgeous.
Whooo boy, did I argue with myself about whether or not to buy this. I'm a little conflicted in my review because I think the pricetag is inflated and I wish the land impact wasn't so high, but ultimately it is so well done I can't hate on it. I purchased it fully knowing the price and the land impact because I've found nothing else like it on the market (of this quality, at least). The pros outweighed the cons for my needs. My plan was to use this as a view outside the windows of various skybox apartments, and I can report that I tested it with a couple and it was a success. It truly is stunning just thrown right into the sky and I'm curious to see what kind of effects I can get by combining it with panoramic cityscapes, animated skydome textures, or even landscape surrounds.
