The Antiki-Taki 'Emperor' Double Dial Multi-Chiming Longcase (Grandfather) clock is our very 'top of the range' model, It is finished in ebony and gilt and has 5 fully working/full control dials. These include 2 separately controllable clock dials and related second hands (enabling 2 separate time zones to be displayed) as well as a dial showing the day of the month.
A selection of 7 strikes and chimes are available with this clock which specifically relate to and are set in the left hand dial. (The right hand dial has no chimes).
The clock's total prim load is 20 in 3 separate items though these should move together. The clock is full copy though no transfer.
Rezzing & Moving.
When you rez the clock all 3 items will rez together and in-world if you move the the main body of the clock all will move together. This clock is no modify and no transfer but is full copy. If you no longer wish to have it in-world simply delete all 3 parts and rerez a fresh copy. Do not take the rezzed clock back into inventory as separate items as the link between then will be broken.

Left Hand Dial
Touch the main body of the clock for the full menu for the left hand dial. The menu provides a selection which enables one to (a) select the time zone (default is sl), (b) whether or not Daylight saving is used (c) whether or not the working second hand is shown (default is on) and (d) who has access to the menu
Time Zones are set by reference to main world cities
Chimes: The chimes menu enables a selection to be made between 7 different chimes or strikes namely:-
Strike-Gong: Srikes the hours and (once) on the half with a gong.
Strike-Bell: Strikes the hours and (once) on the half with a bell.
Ting-Tang: Strikes on 2 bells once on the quarter past, 2 bells twice on the half and 3 times on the quarter to. The hours are sounded on 1 bell.
Westminster: The traditional Westmister chimes on gongs are sounded on all 4 quaters. The hours are also struck on a gong.
Cambridge: Before Big Ben and the Palace of Westmister were built, what became known as Westminster chimes were known as 'Cambridge' from the chimes at the church of St Mary the Great in Cambridge. We have used this old name to differentiate these chimes which on all 4 quarters are struck on 4 bells. The hours also use a bell.
Whittington: Based on those of the church of St Mary le Bow in London, these chimes sound the quarters on 8 bells and the hours on a deep gong.
St Michael: These chimes are sounded on soft gongs. The chimes were originally from bells made in London and then shipped to St Michaels Church in Charleston, in the colony of South Carolina in 1764.
Additional buttons adjust the volume and also enable the various quarter hours to be tuned off or on (where relevant). The hour strikes can be turned off or on via the 'toll' button.
Test Play enables one to hear the various quarter strikes as well as the hour strike (the latter via Toll1, toll2 and toll3).
Right Hand Dial:
The right hand dial may be controlled by touching the very bottom base prim of the clock. The controls are exactly the same as for the left hand dial detailed above excepting that there are no chime controls as the chimes relate soley to the left hand dial. The default setting is sl time (the same as the left dial).
Monthly Dial :
The top middle dial shows the day of the month based on an average month of 31 days.
The default position when rezzed is the month end of a 'normal' month; ie the 31st. It follows that, as with rl clocks, this can get out of sequence especially after a short month of 30 or 28 days and of course when first rezzed in world !
To have the dial show the correct day, wait until the last day of the month (whether the 31st, 30th or 28th), delete all 3 parts of the clock and rerez a new copy. The dial will then be showing correctly the last day of the month and will be correct from thereon. Remember though on 'short' months if the correct day is required the same process will be necessary.
