This item is equiped with a script that allows to change the texture and so to adjust the tint.
Click on the item and you could see to appear a blue menu.
The first menu allows you to choose who can change texture/color, with the choices "ALLmode", "OWNERmode" (default) or "GROUPmode". So this menu allows witt the button "KillScript" to delete scripts to reduce lag if you don't need them. The choice "Texturer" will open the following menu.
With the menu "Texturer" you can choice another texture, but so, with the button "Color", add colors to the texture with the buttons + or - for each 3 primitive colors or also for the luminance. If you are not satisfied of your mix of colors, the button "NO Tint" erase all the color settings.
