WHY YOU MAY WANT A CONTINENT DETECTOR
The Continent Detector is a handy little gadget I made for anyone who travels around Second Life and wants to know where they are on The World Map.
SL Viewers only show you the name of the sim/region you are in and your position there. Frequent travelers often want to know what Continent they are on too!!
Explorers, Boaters, Pilots, Drivers of Second Life and GTFO Group Members should find this very useful !!

HOW THE CONTINENT DETECTOR WORKS
This device is designed to be an INVISIBLE scripted object you can attach anywhere on your avatar that's convenient (I attach mine to my left shoulder because it makes it easy to get information no matter what I'm doing) Once attached, it will automatically tell you what continent you are on every time you teleport. You can also Touch it anytime you want to know what Continent or global area you are in. (Many places in Second Life aren't on a "Mainland" continent, but are located in the 'Western Ocean' or a private region or estate. The Continent Detector will tell you this too.)

IMPORTANT: To see The Continent Detector, press Ctrl-Alt-T on your keyboard; this will show you all the transparent prims on (or near you) and let you right-click to move or resize the Continent Detector like any other prim. Normally, after you have decided on an attachment point, you won't have to do anything else. You can just "wear" or "add" the continent detector like any other clothing item or accessory. In a short time, you may wonder how you ever got along without it!

The Continent Detector is available on the Marketplace at https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/70867
