Adding the Extension Rod

Place your curtain as above so that one side is at the edge of your window.

On the other side, move the finial on the end over to the other edge of your window.

Place your extension rod so it lines up with your curtain rod.

Adjust the length of your extension rod to bridge the gap between the finial and curtain rod -- you can pull the blue box on the end, OR you can go into the Object tab and make the Z size smaller.

Then stretch the curtain panels sideways to be the right width.

TINTING

Go to Edit > Texture tab > click on color square so that a color selection window comes up

To darken or lighten, move the slider up and down.

To change colors, click a color. Move the crosshairs around to adjust color. Colors nearer the bottom are more subtle, near the top brighter.

To match colors exactly, use the eyedropper or type in the same numbers.

If you have another fabric, you can also change fabrics by clicking the Texture box and choosing your fabric.
