Wanted a cruiser, purchased a rocket.
Just wanted a slower speed cruiser. This thing wants to race on a track. It auto shifts (Even with AUTO options turned OFF) into faster speeds very quickly. It rides as if the creator used scripts for a MOTORCYCLE /SPEED BIKE for a high-speed track. If I wanted a vehicle to ride like this I would have just purchased a speed bike. On a scooter this is extremely unrealistic.
Some ups, some downs
I'm not very experienced with vehicles in Second Life, so some of this may be from my own ignorance, but...
I bought this scooter to explore the Linden roads around the grid. It runs nicely, it's easy to control (even for a novice like me), and the menu choices are all easy to use.
I have to say, though, that even in first gear, sim crossings are *really* rough. Like I said, I don't know if that's my own inexperience or something with the scooter, but I thought it worth mentioning.
Still, I'm happy with my new ride. It's cute, and it's fun to drive. :)
