Version 2.0 by Compilance Productions (May, 2022)
This script allows you to make any pet or other item talk! Just fill out the configuration notecard with your customized settings and messages (you can use text, emotes, or even sounds) and then drop it with the script into an object and it will begin to talk for you. Included is a pre-filled-out configuration card to get you started quickly.

FEATURE LIST

• Easy one-notecard configuration
• Your pet/item can have a name other than its object name that it can use in chats (example: Bob says: Hi!)
• Specify an interval for chat events in minutes for randomized and more organic-feeling chat events
• Choose either "random" or "ordered" for your list of chat lines
• Use "whisper", "say", or "shout" for your chat events
• Chat events can be lines of spoken text, emotes, or sounds
• Sounds can play from within the object's inventory or via UUID
• Optionally specify a list of unique chat events to be used when someone touches your pet/item
New as of 2.0:
• Your pet can now give out items on touch! Options are giving single item from its inventory randomly, or a folder of all its contents (other than the script and config card.)
• Now you can add an optional gap between messages in seconds, so messages won't fire too quickly.
