Cadfael Fortress and Castle

This is a massive, detailed fortress in the Norman/Celtic tradition on the outside with classic textures on the inside. The fortress is designed to look as realistic as possible and was inspired by castles in RL. I have included a number of secret defensive countermeasures in its design. There is strong defensive gate complex for trapping an invading force, as well a very large courtyard for adding gardens, stables, or shops. Below the courtyard and secretly accessed is a large area for developing living quarters or shops as well as for hiding a large force. Landscaping is already available to use with it to give it a more realistic look and feel. The fortress is 623 prims and needs 1/4 sim of land / a 128 x 128 parcel / 16384 square meters to sit comfortably.

The fortress is copyable and modifiable and most of the main textures have been included so that you can add on to the build with your own creations.

The fortress also incorporates a full version of the original Cadfael Castle. Some of the features included in the castle:

Large main hall on the first floor with stained glass and marble columns
Hidden living quarters and a dungeon below accessed through a secret trap door
Large private quarters on the second floor
Large Master Suite on the roof level
