Camp Countdown Beeper (CCB) instructions
=============================

(pour la traduction en français, choisissez Français en haut à gauche de la fenêtre)

You probably are like me: you are not always seeing your second Life window, and it's so normal! If it's the case when you're camping and the allowed time is out, you may lose your camp place!

Camp Countdown Beeper Hud will help you to camp efficiently! After a specified time, it emits a beep sound to inform you that the camp countdown time has been reached and that it's time for you to reactivate the dance pad or the seat.

Remark: of course, you must be in a land where script usage is allowed.

After specifying a countdown time, just start the timer. The remaining time is displayed in real time above the HUD and a sound is heard when the time reaches zero.

Use
----
When you wear the HUD (right click on it in your inventory and Wear), a yellow circle appears in the bottom left corner of your SL window. Now, left click on the circle to display a simple dialog menu.

Dialog menu
--------------
The menu shows differents buttons:

- start: to start the countdown timer. Begins to countdown the specified time. Default is 10 minutes (600 seconds).
- stop: to stop the countdown timer.
- 5 mn, 10 mn, 15 mn, 20 mn, 30 mn and 1 h: to specify the time to count down. If you want to specify another time, see below the chat commands.

Margin
--------
Most of the time you need a little delay to react between the beep and reactivation of the camp object. This is the purpose of the "margin"! So, if you specify a margin of 10 (in seconds) and a countdown time of 10 mn, the beep will be heard 10 s before the end of the 10 mn delay. It's simple:)

Remark: the default value of Margin is 0.

To set the margin time, see below (chat commands).

Channel
---------
A communication channel is used to allow chat and menu commands to be understood by the Hud. By default, channel number 6 is used. But if you encounter a conflict with another Hud or script, you can change this number (see below).

Chat commands
-----------------
These commands may be typed in the Local Chat of the Communicate window.

- time: to set the coundown time in seconds. Ex: /6time 600 (set the countdown time to 600 seconds - or 10 mn).
- start: to start the timer. Ex: /6start
- stop: to stop the timer. Ex: /6stop
- channel: to set the channel number. Ex: /6channel 10 (now the channel 10 will be the default channel, so you have to type for instance: /10start to start the timer).
- margin: to set the margin time in seconds. Ex: /6margin 15 (set the margin time to 15 seconds).
