The basic version of this late 19th century US infantry campaign hat was modeled after a reproduction item in Mr. Peterman's collection. All of the blocks or "crushes" can be found in images of the period, as the wearers tended to put a personal stamp on their headgear after awhile.
Feel free to tint and stretch the hats as you like, but don't forget to save a copy of the originals before you make changes!
