There are a few variations of Stone Trim for vertical columns to break up the walls. The main stone textures ( 2 versions) tile seamlessly and can be interchanged/ alternated. Most stone walls with windows tile vertically only - the important ones will tile horizontal though.

I recommend extensive use of the vertical stone columns as well as the cap stones to make nice 3D looking stuff and to break up the alpha window walls slightly.

Tinting these in a sligtht grey tone will make them nice and dark for more goth or medieval look.
