Weeeeeee!

Perfect for any outdoor setting, this rope swing will give your decor a little extra fun.
Animated and scripted to swing on sit ( and stop swinging when you get up) - no need to try to catch the rope to stop or start it like other swings out there.
Complete with an adorable swinging animation, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
It is modify, and you can remove the decorative bow for a few less prims- it also comes with various top loop sizes- so you can fit it on just about anything!

First, this is one really great animated rope swing. No need to catch an already swinging rope to go for a ride, no need to click it to turn it off if you even are thoughtful enough to remember to do so. This one starts when you jump onto it, and stops when you jump off, and it does so with amazingly realistic action, increasing the arc as you pump it up, and decreasing it as it slows to a stop after you jump off. If you jump at the right time, you will fly out and be deposited on the ground ahead of the swing itself just as you would be in RL. The animation itself is wonderfully smooth and the transition in direction of swing is simply great. Would that others in SL could be as good.

My qualification comes in regard to modifying the swing. Stretching the rope is not just a simple matter of doing so in regular edit, as the pivot point is set at the top of the rope as it comes out of the box. If you simply stretch the rope, you will pivot from somewhere along the length of the rope, rather than from the top. To lengthen the rope successfully, you will have to create a new prim at the top of the extended rope, put the pivot script in it, link it to the longer rope, and turn the pivot prim invisible. It is simple enough, once you realize how it is constructed, but it does require a bit of head scratching first, and editing capabilities a bit beyond ordinary basics. You do have to know how to "take apart, create, and put back together."

Subject to the above qualification, this is one great swing. None better.

i found this swin on a beach sim and after trying it i had to get it for my home :) i love the small details like the rope slowing down after getting off and the way it slowly picks up speed. very nice job and good price for what you get! Thanks to the creator :)

I actually really like it, animation is nice and so is the look of it. i love how it builds up speed too, like a real swing.. only issue is that its more than 6 prims.. its 6 once you take the ribbon off
