This product is a BoM (Bakes on Mesh) kit specifically designed to work with Catseye "Bento Tail" *fluffy*, *feline* and *tufted* (links in related items)
It will NOT work with the animesh versions or any other tails!
Likewise BoM layers made for other tails will NOT work with these tails.
It does not apply your skin texture to the tail.
The included BoM layers/scripts use the "Aux2" BoM channel, so it will not work together with other BoM attachments using the same channel.

Cannot even get close....
Like the first reviewer golden tabby tiger skin. Changing one color changes the other, and every time I enter edit mode the entire tail turns black and I have to make changes, save and exit the editor to see the actual colors. How in gods name do you get orange with a darker orange/brown stripes? Been doing the trial and error bit since I bought this in January, get frustrated, stop, try another day (or week), repeat.

My kitty is a golden tiger and the textures that come with the feline tail are fantastic but they are black. This allowed me to very closely match my tiger stripes with my skin stripes. It does take a bit of trial and error to get the color right. It helps if you have even a tiny bit of editing experience.
