Catseye "Ultra Hooves"

The permissions of the "Ultra Hooves" are copy/mod (it says otherwise because the scripts inside are no mod, but you can still edit them).
HUD features:
- many texture options
- tinting of all different parts (legs, pattern, hooves, horseshoes)
- switch between solid and cloven hooves
- apply glow/brightness/shine to some parts
- hide parts of the legs using the alpha options

Good hooves
Fur texture is nice and fur-like compared to other faun/satyr legs.
Best Hooves for Shape - Worst for Texture
I hesitantly write this review, but unless we're honest with our content creators, they'll never have any reason or ability improve the content they create. TLDR at the bottom.
Lemme start by saying that, out of all of the legs that I've seen available to me, Catseye makes some of the best in terms of proportion. If you've seen me around, you know I use these legs constantly. I don't think anything else comes close to my desired shape - those tiny little things a lot of folks wear may look cute to them, but they just look objectively weird. For your standard hoof, these are (at least in my opinion) the best-shaped hoof.
I also want to say that I've tried catseye legs out on a number of different avis both male and female, and while I do have a generally good opinion of Catseye's fit on different avis, these Ultra Hooves in particular seem to hate Slink's male body. I had a very hard time finding shorts, even short-shorts, that wouldn't clip with these in a way that can't be fixed with an alpha.
I don't really have anything to say about the cloven version of these. It looks definitely bovine, while I'm more of a deer guy. So...eh?
Now if you wanna know what's wrong with these, oh boy. Next time you're at a furry place, take a look at peoples' legs. You wanna know what you'll see? Things that're poorly textured, or unrigged/sculpty legs with noteworthy seams, or something compatible with the default SL UV, or, heaven forbid, feet. Why? Because they're all easier to work with than mastering an awkward UV, or hiring someone who can.
At one point I tried to learn how to figure out how to work textures on this. It's an absolute headache! And almost every time I've seen these legs used in a mod, the textures don't line up for one reason or another. These really needed capability for the SL UV. They just don't look right, even with matching colors. You won't see these often, which is a real shame.
TLDR; UV sucks. Read the title lazy buns.
Best Hoofers On The Market!
I use these hooves for all of my hoofer avatars! Easy to modify and customize, and the markings are great!
Great, just one thing holding them back...
I love these hooves, except the lack of Omega appliers. That is the one thing holding these back.
I'm still trying to get the texture .psd's to match the fur I am using it with and its proving quite difficult.
Other than that, these are excellent.
