CaveTech – Extender Local Chat expands local chat across your land by dynamically rezzing a tiny invisible relay (one per avatar). Messages are delivered in real time to avatars outside the default 20 m range, while smart safeguards prevent duplicates when people are already close enough to hear each other. Ground, mid-air, or skyboxes—set a height band and you’re done.
What it does
• Extends local chat across your parcel so distant avatars see and reply as if nearby
• One invisible node per avatar, auto-spawned and auto-cleaned (≈ 1 prim per active avatar)
• No echoes, no delays — unique IDs and proximity checks prevent loops and spam
• Height band control (Min/Max meters) to target ground floors, skyboxes, or the whole parcel
• Group-only mode (optional): relay only for avatars wearing the same group tag
• Display Name support with graceful fallback to legacy name
• Greeter (optional): discreet notice when someone enters the parcel
• Owner menu with simple submenus for Range (UI indicator) and Height adjustments

How to use
Rez the CaveTech – ChatExt Controller on your parcel (ensure rez & scripts enabled).
Touch to open the menu and set Power → On.
(Optional) Adjust Mode, Height, Range (UI), Display Name, Greeter.
Enjoy extended, clear local chat. Nodes appear as needed and delete themselves when avatars leave.
Notes
• Keep a few prims free (≈ 1 prim per concurrent avatar).
• Range in the menu is a UI indicator to guide you; delivery is per-avatar via nodes.
• Height limits near 0–4100 m; set Min/Max to match your build (e.g., 0–999 for ground, 1000–4100 for sky).
• Use Group mode if you want the relay only for staff/members wearing the same group tag.
