Rez the lamp. go to the contents tab in edit from the pie menu. Find the object named switch, rez it to the ground. Touch the switch blue menu comes up with two buttons on and off. This will control the lamp. Both the lamp and switch are copy & mod you can rez as many lamps as you want. The switch will control them all as long as they aren't too far apart. if you have a big house and need another switch for another level of the house take the switch back into your inventory to make a copy.
