To be perfectly frank, this ring was a bit of a disappointment at the price. It looks very pretty on my hand, and it technically provided invisibility, but all it seems to do is move my avatar underground. I suppose that ought to be okay, but for some reason, on every sim I've tried it on, the effect has worn off while walking. This means I have to fly everywhere in order to remain invisible. I haven't tried it in any no-fly zones yet. The ring also does nothing about the name and group name floating above one's head.

Also, I think my biggest pet peeve is the fact that you have to say "Invisible" in open chat to disappear, which rather reduces the stealth potential of the ring. Other items use channels... why can't this one?

EDIT: No, apparently it DOESN'T look good on my hand, as there;s no physical object of the ring. I was confusing something else for it.

On the positive side, however, it is quite handy for removing oneself from a shot if one wants to take screen captures.
