CHARLESTON CHURCH

When I was asked to build a church and saw which one was desired, all my courage sunk right into my shoes. O my, I can't do that!! But,... well here it is! It was a challenge to build it and great fun!

This church is perfect for any church service and marriages!

The design of this church is based on the St Matthews Lutheran Church in Charleston , South Carolina. It is said that no build in Charleston is allowed to be higher then this church.
The whole build and interior is kept as close to reality as was possible. The stained glass windows are the real windows of the church and are all different. Also the pews, chandeliers and pulpit and baptistal font are very recognizable.

Ofcourse because it is build in mesh I could detail this whole amazing build. You will find you almost in reality.

HOW DOES THIS CHURCH LOOK LIKE
The Church has a footprint of 30 x 56 m and has a land impact of 1286. That is a lot, but includes all the items that are in the interior like pews, chandeliers pulpit etc. Because of the size of the church I loaded up the MESH files with a bit more LOD then I usually do, but still you need to set you rendervolumeLODfactor higher for not to miss the many details of this church.

ANIMATIONS
The pews and church chair has sit animations,
The pulpit has a preach and pray animation Just touch the pulpit and you are be seated. In the animation menu you can choose what animation you like to do.
The pray bench let you pray on your knees.

SCRIPTS
All chandeliers and lamps in the church are automatically lit when it gets dark and will be unlit when the sun comes up.
The clock has a timezone script inside. By rezzing, the clock will set automatically to PST time but you can adjust to your own timezone if needed . Be aware you cant link the clock to the church because the scripts need to be in the rootprim of the clock.
The church bell will swing and gives a great bell sound on touch. You need to set your sound volume quite high though because the bell hangs so high in the sky, that you hear it just softly.
Doors open by touch and will close behind you.

ATTENTION 1
Because of the high LI of the church it self, it will take some time for the church to rez from the rezzer. Please be patient. It takes about 30 seconds to 1 miinute to rez it all.

ATTENTION 2!!
Despite the rezzerbox tells you that the church is no modify, it IS modify. It is because of the scripts in the pulpit for preaching and praying why it says it is not.

ATTENTION 3!!
For a good performance to see the house also from a bit of a distance Please set your RenderVolumeLodfactor on 8.
You do that in the ADVANCED MENU (Ctrl Alt D). Go to debug settings. Fill in the box RenderVolumeLodFactor and change the number into 8
