The chat floor is copy&mod and can be used multiple times on the same floor or on different levels. The constraints are: They must not be overlayed on the same level and there must be a distinct gap between them, to avoid miss messages.

The chat floor has a menu for settings and textures. To use your own textures, simply put them into the inventar of the chat floor.
