Che Guevara (1928-1867) was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, author, guerrilla leader and political theorist. This iconic photograph was taken by Alberto Kordo in 1960 memorial for those who lost their lives in the explosion of Le Coubre, a ship carrying munitions that was sunk in the harbor of Havana, Cuba.
