A torii, or otorii, is a traditional Japanese gate commonly found at the entry to a Shinto shrine, although they can be found at Buddhist temples as well. It has two upright supports and two crossbars at the top, and is frequently painted vermillion. Torii mark the transition from the sacred (the shrine) to the profane (the normal world).

(From Wikipedia)

This fine torii gate will mark the entrance to your garden, shrine, or other special place.

Enjoy!

I would like to express my thanks to Exuberance Lafleur, who helped me with the texturing and final construction of this gate as I was learning to build. 50% of proceeds go to her.
