An attractive dark mahogany secretary desk in the Chippendale style with a writing desk surface that opens and closes. This desk is based on a genuine English secretary-bookcase manufactured by the famous English cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale in England about 1780.
Note that only the writing surface of the desk opens and closes, while glass doors above and the drawers below do not. Thus there is no space for storage except on the writing surface itself.
