A large library table in deep-coloured mahogany with figured grain, made between 1766 and 1767 by Thomas Chippendale for the library at Nostell Priory, the residence of Sir Rowland Winn.
The desk, of large dimensions is richly decorated with pilasters flanking each corner carved with lion masks, scrolls and terminating in lion paw feet, the doors of each compartment decorated with foliate garlands and the writing surface in green leather, (also included are black, navy blue, and red versions).
Considered one of the most representative and most expensive pieces made by Chippendale, this desk, meticulously crafted with respect for the original details, represents the pinnacle of English neoclassicism in mahogany decoration.

Superbe bureau de librairie avec incroyables détails. Merci encore pour ces meubles d'une qualité extrême.
Good purchase.
Looks good rezzed in world. Smaller than I was expecting, but the land impact scaled reasonably enough when I sized it appropriately. Went from 6 to 8.
