Pilotable UAV Script built with LSL only for Second Life—tap to sit, then fly with click-to-control. Once a pilot is seated, the script requests camera/controls permissions, arms a lightweight hover-capable vehicle, and maps your movement inputs to forward/back/strafe/up/down plus yaw and pitch (LMB). It also locks and continuously applies a custom third-person camera setup so you get consistent, dramatic framing while you fly. On channel 0, command it with simple chat keywords—“land”, “hover”, or “stop”—to handle approach, stabilization, and emergency braking in seconds.
Use Cases:
- Fly inspection routes over builds
- Do surveillance-style scouting from above
- Capture cinematic flythroughs for machinima
- Test rooftop placements and line-of-sight
- Create interactive drone-based games or roleplay
- Guide users through landing practice scenarios
- Run airspace training for beginner pilots
- Perform delivery-style roleplay missions
- Event coverage: scan crowd areas safely
- Showcase products with aerial camera perspectives
- Assist with aerial landscaping and placement review
- Create platformer-style “drone challenge” experiences
- Emergency stabilization: quick chat “hover” command during drift
- Maintenance/recon: quick “land” for controlled descent
