Cloud Nine is a wearable personal vehicle, designed for smooth riding on SL streets like those in Bellisseria and elsewhere in the mainland. It's also well-behaved for contemplative off-road exploration. No roaring diesel engine, no jackrabbit starts and squealing tires. Cloud Nine is a gentle electric vehicle.

You cannot take passengers. It's just you and the open road. Kind of Zen-like, if you think about it.

START-UP:

You don't get into Cloud Nine, or ride on it (so its land impact makes no difference). You wear it and it becomes part of you, rolling along, wherever you want to go. So ...

1. Find Cloud Nine in your inventory and then right-click and select ADD to attach it to your avatar. ( To keep from accidentally replacing other things you might have on, please do not select WEAR. )

2. You cannot change the dimensions of Cloud Nine. However, if your avatar's size is reasonably close to an average human avatar, you may adjust Cloud Nine's position to personalize it.

a. You can adjust your own position on the vehicle by selecting Cloud Nine with your viewer's edit tool. ( While you are wearing Cloud Nine, right-click and select EDIT. Then use the colored arrows to move Cloud Nine gently. )

b. To adjust the vertical position of the vehicle itself, use Appearance >> Hover Height to change your own hover height. ( NOTE: You will need to make this adjustment each time you use Cloud Nine. It won't remember.)

3. Turn your own AO off, so that it does not interfere with Cloud Nine's animation.

OPERATION:

==== The following controls will only work if you have attached Cloud Nine in an area where you are allowed to run scripts. ====

4. Use the direction arrow keys on your keyboard to make Cloud Nine move, or turn. By default, it moves at normal walking speed. You can move at running speed by double-clicking the UP arrow.

5. Blow the horn by clicking your left mouse button.

6. If your viewer is set to use the local Region/Estate daylight setting, Cloud Nine's headlight will turn on automatically at dusk and turn off again at dawn.

7. Dismount from Cloud Nine by detaching it from your avatar. You may need to readjust your hover height.
