The Clover - Eye 2.0 is a cyberpunk / tech eye for your second life avatar. Your new eyes not only look beautiful, but give you the ability to express basic emotions through your eyes at the click of a button, see nearby avatar data (such as the direction they are facing, the distance from you, and the speed they are moving), and see data of the avatar in your crosshair in mouselook (such as their height, weight converted to realistic units, if they are in mouselook, flying, running etc, and the potential danger of the avatar). Your HUD attachment makes it easy to identify, and target agents on the sim, making it perfect for combat roleplay scenarios.
Unfortunate behavior by the creator
I really wanted to like these, despite the no Demo, I went ahead and bought them as they look pretty awesome!
They're not.
The eye is a solid texture, full white - you see the color ring around the pupil? it doesn't actually glow in that color.
Its a solid white texture similar to the back of the eye.
2nd, you can not change textures per eye - only per both eyes - unless I assume you equip one at a time and change them, but then you cannot use the HUD to actually apply changes, you'll need to remove an eye at a time to change.
I reached out to the creator to see their stance on the matter, I did not receive a response - so this is the most fitting review I am happy to share.
Not worth your money - I ended up finding a L$150 of cybernetic eyes, that were alot more impressive than whatever this was meant to be.
I really wanted to like it, But I don't.
