I am not the creator of the game I am just selling off some extra tables in my inventory from a sim I used to run.

The SL murder detective game for 2 to 6 players (3+ recommended)

Murder! Governor Linden has been found dead, his body slumped at the foot of the stairs at the Governor's Mansion. The cause of death is as yet unknown, but several possible weapons have been found around the mansion:

- Watermelon gun, found in the Holodeck
- Orbiter, found in the Skybox
- Blunt Prim, found at the Sandbox
- Pose Ball, found in the Hot Tub
- Bling Ring, found at the Dance Club
- Asset Server, found in the Office

The chief suspects are six Linden avatars that were visiting for the Governor's office hours:

- Lavender Linden (Purple)
- Peaches Linden (Orange)
- Chalky Linden (White)
- Sandy Linden (Yellow)
- Emerald Linden (Green)
- Sapphire Linden (Blue)

Your task is to solve the mystery!

* Moving *
When it's your turn a "Police Line" tape will appear across your HUD, a bell will sound and the dice will be thrown for you automatically. You can change your bell sound (or turn it off) from the Player Menu. The current player can also be identified by a nice hot cup of tea which moves near to them.

You must move by the number of squares thrown (without entering the same square twice) unless you are trapped or enter a room. To move, touch the arrow icons on your HUD - the available directions will be highlighted. You cannot move diagonally and you cannot move through walls (other than the special teleport routes). Your camera is automatically aligned with the board so you can easily tell which direction is which - if you cam away you can return to the board view by pressing your Esc key.

When you're finished moving, touch the "Done" button on your HUD. If you entered a room you also get the opportunity to make a Suggestion or an Accusation. If you change your mind about a move prior to touching "Done", touch the "<<" icon to return to your initial position.

* Suggesting *
You may make a Suggestion when you enter a room, or at the start of your turn if you're already in a room. Touch the "Suggest" button on your HUD and the clue card for your current room will be displayed automatically on your HUD. Next, touch (on your notepad) the suspect and the weapon you wish to suggest - those cards will also be displayed on the HUD. When you're happy with your suggestion touch the "Suggest" button once more and the other players will be interrogated in turn. You may cancel your suggestion before announcing it by touching the "<<" icon.

When you make a suggestion the suspect and weapon pawns will be summoned to your room (whether or not the suspect is in use by a player). They are NOT returned to their previous location when your turn is over.

If the player to your left holds any of your suggested clues he or she must reveal one of them to you. If they hold just one card this is shown automatically, otherwise, they must choose which to reveal by touching it on their HUD. Although all players can see when a clue is revealed, only the player who made the suggestion can see which card has been shown. If the player to your left holds none of the suggested clues, the next player is consulted and so on until someone reveals a card or there are no more players to question.

* The Notepad *
The evidence notepad is located on your HUD to help you solve the mystery. At the start of the game all of the clues are listed in your notepad, and the clue cards held in your hand are marked with an asterisk (*). The clues in your hand are also crossed through, as they can immediately be eliminated from your inquiries. When further clues are revealed to you during the game they are also crossed out on your pad.

A clue will be marked with a check/tick mark if it is clearly proven to be a fact in the case. This can happen if it is the only clue yet to be eliminated in its category (suspect, weapon or room). A clue is also proven if nobody is able to show any card from your suggestion, and the clue is not held in your hand.

* Accusing *
When you're sure you know the facts of the case move to a room - any will do - and touch the "Accuse" button on your HUD. You will be asked whether you're SURE you want to make an accusation as if you get this wrong you will be out of the game!

Select the suspect, the weapon and the room by touching them on your notepad. When you're happy with your accusation, touch the "Accuse" button a second time, or touch "<<" if you changed your mind.

The game will now compare your accusation with the facts in the evidence envelope. If they match you've won the game! If not, you will get no further turns in the game, but must remain seated to answer suggestions as the game continues for the other players.

The game will continue until either a player has made a correct accusation, or all players have accused incorrectly.
