Clumber Lake

Once home to the Duke of Newcastle, Clumber Park is now one of the estates owned and managed by the National Trust in the UK. The house was demolished and bits of it sold off to a variety of places leaving the other estate buildings in place. This photo shows the lake which was constructed by damming the river and the Chapel for the Newcastle family and their personal staff.
