What is a mesh?
"Mesh" is a new type of prim which can be imported into Second Life in a similar manner to sculpted prims. The difference is that mesh objects can be much more complex (or simple) and offer a greater range of control - they can even be rigged to the SL avatar. This means that when attached, a mesh can bed and twist much like your regular avatar does - no other prim can do this!
How do I wear the mesh item?
Install second life viewer that is compatiple with mesh prims!
It's really simple! Just right click the mesh item in your inventory and attach to any point on your avatar, it will automatically align itself with your shape.
Mesh prims are no resizeable!
