2. Select "debug settings" near the bottom.
3. In the blank space, copy and paste the word:
RenderVolumeLODFactor
4. In the box below, set the number. The recommended setting is as high as 4 to have all your sculpts looking as the creator intended.

Good LOD and Texture-ability
This is a great selection of cups and saucers with good LOD and good stitching for easy texturing. Just use the sculpty map texture to see where everything will be and texturing the cups will be easy and will not distort. For the beverage liquid surface I use a cylinder prim. It's just not possible to stitch a sculpt for nice even cup surface and have a flat non distorted liquid face so this creator made the best choice of methods in my opinion.
not given a rating as above, read the comments to see why.
a few things:
sculpt maps are pulled on the inside of the cups and center portion of the saucers - the result ? - you MUST use solid textures on these areas as patterns of any sort are pulled terribly.
there are small lines where the inside of the sculpt passes through the exterior wall of the cup.
the design of the cups and saucers themselves are fabulous however.... I rate the product as below:
concept : 5 of 5 stars
actual design and rendering 3.5 of 5
worth the $850 I paid at the end of July /09? sadly no. $500 tops. Only worth the asking price if the problems above were fixed.
Review addended on August 31/09 - and I have given this item an item star review :D)
I was contacted by the creator and provided a new set, the flash at the bottom of the cups has been fixed and an explanation for the "pulling" given ... I quote "as for the spiral in middle, yes a solid color is best for the middle with edge detail, if know baking then the spiral in middle can be reduced greatly, there is another way to sculpt it but you get what they call quad angles and if a person was to bake the texture , it would not work properly, thus why i sculpt it this way."
I also have begun using my photoshop to more of its capabilities and now make my own textures for these pieces with resulting pieces that are beautiful. I change my rating to:
concept : 5 of 5 stars
design and rendering 5 of 5
product value: worth the $850
customer service: 5 of 5 stars, sure its been a while since I bought the product but, the creator fixed the problems completely and we all have rl's..... right? ;) I highly recommend this product.
