More than worth the price
It's a ton of neat little settings, each in a bunch of colors for lots of different moods (summer and candy are my favorites). Try Night Lights (galaxy) for a classic aurora borealis look (at this time of day, at this time of year, localized entirely on your sim). The water settings are lovely too, but I admittedly get a lot less use out of them
