From the middle of the 18th century, the bedroom of the urban elite was no longer considered a reception area, but more intimate and personal space. Consequently, as opposed to the prototypical bedroom with few furniture but visually heavy from the first half of the century, the spaces began to be filled with lighter, more practical pieces of furniture that could be used for various activities to create an atmosphere as refined as "decorated".
Chairs, small tables in satin woods, beds with canopies, light porcelain, silk fabrics, refined gilded bronzes in ormolu... There was nothing more in vogue than being surrounded at all times by beautiful objects.

Beautiful work, yet still low land impact!
Something others may not notice about CHINA & GOODIES, is that while their work is stunning down to their attention to mesh materials, they are also using very smart low land impact techniques to balance out the level of details packed into each item. Most items across all of their collections are under 10LI. This level of craftsmanship is worthy of the price tag, I would say.
I adore the picture frames in this set, and enjoy that they are modify so I can swap out the art and repeat them without seeming too repetitive. The bed is beautiful and has animations you won't find on just any bed. Beautiful work as always!
