The Common Guillemot, also known as the Common Murre, is a seabird native to the North Atlantic and North Pacific.
The common murre is a pursuit-diver that forages for schooling fish by swimming underwater using its wings for propulsion. It nests in densely packed colonies on islands, rocky shores, cliffs and sea stacks
