This comms system is supplied copy and full mod so that you can integrate it into your moving starship or building and link it. Be careful when linking items that you select the comm panel *first* and the part of your build that you are connecting things to *last* to keep the root prim the same.
INSTRUCTIONS
Rez and place your control panels where you want them.
Stand close to a panel, type what you want to say into the local chat window, but don't press enter
Touch the red button - it will go green and make a sound
Now press enter to say your message. It will be broadcast around the network and be heard at each comm panel you have placed.
MODIFICATIONS
One recommended mod is to change the name of each panel to represent the area you have put it in - for example, if you have one on your ship bridge, call it 'Bridge'. This way, whenever a communication comes through the system, it can also inform you not just of who said it, but which panel they used.
