Introduction
• The Covey Texture Change HUD System is made for designers. Anyone who wants to sell clothing, furniture, or a wide range of other products using a texture-change HUD.
• The HUD and Item scripts have copy and transfer permissions, but these must be changed to copy/no transfer before items are sold. The creator's script is a copy only and is not required for items you sell.
• The system allows creators to build their own HUD in their own style.
• Works with any Linkset size and up to eight texture faces per link.
• You can also have sets, such as a couch, chair, and table, all on one HUD.
• Works with all material layers (Diffuse, Normal and Specular) and PBR.
• Preserves information such as texture repeats and rotation.
Getting Started
There are three scripts:
• Covey Texture Change Receiver
• Covey Texture Change Hud
• Covey Texture Change Hud (Creator)
• If you purchased through a vendor, you will need to rez the example item and the example HUD, then copy the scripts from their contents to your inventory.
The land impact figure is a minimum amount for a hud using this system and native prims rather than mesh.
