My Crinoline gowns are first and foremost Historically Accurate, which is always my goal in making dresses for any period. This includes realistic skirt movement. Mesh does not work well for historical skirts that were supported by a pannier framework under the skirt. So, all of my gowns continue to have prim skirts, and sculptie attachments.
It's a lot of fun making Crinoline and other Victorian gowns, because these periods are all very eclectic - borrowing features from various fashion eras that came before them. the Crinoline era is especially fun, since these gowns are extremely feminine (or, as I like to say "girly").
I waltzed in all of the skirts to be certain they would move realistically before releasing any. Hope you enjoy them.
The parasols that come with some of the gowns automatically rez in your right hand when you click "wear". They may not stay in an upright position as you walk (depending upon your AO), but return to position when you stop. I have more than one AO, and with one I wear the parasol after turning it on, and the other wear it after the AO is on. So, you might need to experiment a bit. Hope you enjoy them (-:
