Very lovely, but...

To lead with the positive, this zaisu set is very nicely made in the looks department. The table and chairs are high quality in textures and design. My complaint is that three of the four provided sit animations go beyond useless and straight into rude. This is a low table meant to seat four. You should not lounge on the seat and stick your feet under the table to where you're kicking a tablemate. But you can on this set. The only usable animation they included was for the tea drinking, which isn't even the default option when you sit down. Clearly, whoever built this set has no idea that in more than one Asian culture, forcing someone to deal with the bottom of your feet is an insult. And even if it isn't in Japan, sticking your legs out like a three-year-old trying to play footsie with the person opposite them out of boredom is a really bad move. Clearly, I should've demoed it inworld first and saved my Lindens. But even granting that, this table is rather insulting in its presumptions. I hope the makers get past this issue and use animations that suit the beauty of their Blender work.
