This handsome Trivia Machine will look good in any venue, sitting on a countertop, standing in a corner, even resting on the floor. It has six built-in colour schemes and the front face can be changed from striped to plain (one of the textures is white, allowing you manually tint the texture any colour you like). As well, dropping a texture into the machine's contents will display that texture on the machine's screen, and you can change the front metal faceplate to any texture you like as well.
The machine comes pre-loaded with seven Trivia notecards containing hundreds of questions. The notecards are full-perm and easily modifiable, allowing you to add or remove any questions you like. Instructions on how to set up your own Trivia notecards are also included. The included notecards are Geography, History, Science & Nature, Sports & Leisure, Star Trek, Valentine's Day, and Assorted.
Once you select a Trivia category and start the machine, it will ask questions at a determined interval (you can set how long this via menu, as well as how long players have to guess the correct answer). An animated timer displays how much time is remaining to answer the question. If someone says the correct answer, they score a point. The Trivia Machine can be set to pay out lindens for correct answers (you decide how much). For security reasons, payouts will not occur unless you are online to be notified.
The display screen shows its basic "Trivia Challenge" texture (or one you have provided) when it is not running trivia. When a trivia round is running, the screen will change to display the trivia texture (if one is provided in the notecard) between questions, an animated countdown stopwatch while the question remains unanswered, a checkmark when someone gets the answer correct, and an X when nobody gets the question before the timer runs out.
Every five questions, the machine will display current scores (you can change this setting).

Trivia notecards can be set up to display a customized texture when their questions are being asked (e.g. a heart for Valentine's trivia, a basketball for sports trivia, etc). Questions can also be formatted to include line breaks. Complete instructions and examples are included.

This product is cheap and got everything you want for your club. Now the pre-baked notecards with questions are sometimes way too difficult. I mean: I love Jazz, I love Star Trek and more, but I can hardly answer the questions (that are sometimes very America-centric too). But.... you are invited to add your own notecards with questions. It's so easy, and now I made a set of Trivia questions that will please Europeans more (who for instance love sports like soccer, not basketball or baseball). If you want, I can share some questions and answers about music with you for free :) Anyway, if you want to play Trivia in your club (and even automatically pay winners), this is the machine you need to purchase.
