Speedometer HUD
-------------------------

In Second Life you can choose and buy from a large range of vehicles such as cars, bikes, boats, jet skies and aircraft. In a matter of minutes you will be traversing the grid reaching new levels of fun, excitement and exploration.

Unfortunately what many of these vehicle manufacturers fail to deliver are outstanding, useful and sexy looking instrumentation cluster HUDs to further enhance your driving experience.

This is where the CyberTech Speedometer HUD comes into its own.

Compatible with any form of sl vehicle, our Speedometer HUD is not only the coolest looking instrument cluster you will ever see in sl but it will provide you with detailed information such as Speed, Distance travelled, resettable trip Odometer, Tachometer RPM, Compass direction and Sim Boundary Warnings!

But wait, there's more.

User options also include unit conversions MPH or KPH, an Instrument Cluster colour changer (12 colours), an Auto-Hide function and the HUD is COPYABLE to allow you to create a custom HUD for each of your vehicles.

Basic Instructions
------------------------

Making Multiple Copies of the HUD
-----------------------------------------------

Of course you can use one HUD on all your vehicles but some may desire to have individual custom HUDs for each of their vehicles and keep the Total Distance Travelled specific to each individual vehicle.

Should you wish to create multiple HUDs then you need to make multiple Copies of the HUD and save each in their respective vehicle folder.

1. Locate the CyberTech - Speedometer folder in your inventory
2. Within it you will find the object Speedometer HUD
3. Rez the Speedometer HUD on the ground and TAKE COPY.
4. Locate the Speedometer HUD in your Objects folder and copy it to the required vehicle folder.
5. Repeat until you have made sufficient HUDS.
6. Delete the HD on the Ground.

Loading the HUD
-----------------------

Locate the CyberTech - Speedometer folder in your inventory and within it you will find the object Speedometer HUD.

Alternatively if you wish to use a vehicle specific HUD locate the Speedometer previously saved in your vehicle folder.

DO NOT REZ THIS IN-WORLD. If you do then you will see an instrument panel on the ground. You will need to delete this.

There are two ways to load and use the HUD.

WEAR - directly from inventory. It will automatically attach to its default Bottom Right position.
ATTACH TO HUD - Select where you want the HUD to attach - Default position is Bottom Right.

The Speedometer HUD will load and appear on screen in its default Bottom Right position.

For L$150 you cant beat it! I found this hud while searching for a speedo and compass for my boat, which had no navigation instruments at all. A bit dubious at first, I purchased this HUD to give me at least some reference of speed and direction. It works great, even the tachometer! I only wish that there was also a scale in kts / hr. Cyberguy, if you ever come up with an additional scale in kts / hr, PLEASE send out an update!
