Digital Designs: Sim Security Access (SSA)
What is Sim Security? Have you ever wanted to throw a party for all of your friends but your house is set to not allow anyone except on the parcel access list? Or perhaps you just bought some new land and want to add a hundred people to the parcel's banlist that are known trouble makers?
Well now you can! Digital Designs Sim Security gives you the ability to add many names to parcel access or ban lists with ease. Simply fill out the set up notecard with all of the names, and place it on the land (or deeded if it is group owned) and let Sim Security do the rest! Within minutes all of the data will be added to the parcels access and or ban list.
It is also great if you just bought land and there are hundreds of names in the parcel access/ban list and you don't want to spend hours cleaning them out.ÂOr have several locations and want to update them all with the same information quickly.

To use first copy Sim Security from the sales container to your inventory. Then rez it in world (drag it from your inventory and drop it in world). Now right click on it and select edit in the pie menu. Look for the Setup notecard and double click on it.
You will see several example lines such as :
ban = Tester Digital, 2000.0
Simply delete the examples and write your own. They always follow this format command (ban, unban access unaccess), space, equal sign (=) full EXACT name of the person. Case matters here! Then the time you wish the ban to last. Note only bans and access need a time setting, unaccess and unban does not. Also access for each person MUST be set to 0.0 time.
Now simply click Sim Security and in the blue pop up box on what you want to be done. Add the people to be banned, added to access or removed from access. Only what you have set up in the notecard can be done. In other words if you have Joe Smoe set to ban, and Jane Smoe set to access in the notecard that is all you can do no matter what button you press. It is just a matter of what you want to do now.
List of dialog buttons and what they do:
Access: Add people to the access list
Ban: Add people the ban list
Unaccess: Remove people from access list
Unban: Remove people from the ban list
Clear Ban: Clear the ban list (deletes everything)
Clear Access: Clear the access list (deletes everything)
--NOTE--Sim Security will only do what you have set up in the notecard. Therefore if you have Joe Smoke set to ban, you can't unban just him or add him to access unless you make new entries in the notecard.
****Notice****
This device is not designed to be left rezed in world as anyone can click on it to get the menu. Although little damage can be done that can't be fixed in a minute.....unless the people in your current lists are not in your notecard. Then the lists could be cleared and possibly cause a problem for you. We suggest rezing it in world, using it, then taking it back to inventory.
