[DDD] Simplest Rain Set - Easy Animated Mesh Rain System Version 1

WOW- absolutely INCREDIABLE ! Love the drops of rain that hit the ground so realistic! An amazing product at an excellent price! The The extra- Add on is a must the options you get with the hud are great! Thank you!

Great product. Works, looks and acts just as described and shown. The hud is BIG, like half of your screen; would be nice if it was stretchable then we could all make it the size we want. I also bought the Extended Hud pack and its well worth the little bit extra to customize your rain how you like. The rain is hard to see in a lot of the environmental light settings no matter which hud options you choose. The rain sound is very nice. I was disappointed that the "sounds" did NOT include periodic thunder. Give us some thunder in an update and I'll give you 10 stars! Thanks!!

Good product except the menu size is silly big and we can't fix it

Difficult to add to what has already been said - I thought of rain for a night time Tokyo street scene I had built and found this by chance - and its' a dream! Goes down and works straight off. I have stretched and pulled a few pieces to ensure rooms are dry without ill effect. Though, I would echo the makers instructions - PUT IT DOWN LAST - or be VERY patient regarding getting to other things within the rain to edit etc - not impossible but a lil stressful. So far I have gotten along fine with it - no probs at all - hats off to the creator(s)! :)

As a slight thought and I mention this despite the perfectly logical makers explanation for minimising script lag - but it would be good if you could just bump the rain blocks up and down - say 30 ms so you can edit things or maybe cam for photos - then plonk the rain back where it was - perhaps an esoteric wish - but I can see its usefulness :)

I LOVE, LOVE , LOVE, IT, IT'S THE BEST RAIN IN SL, I PUT IT ALL AROUND MY HOUSE AND EDIT IT AND NO RAN COMES IN THE HOUSE, I EDIT IT SO TIL U SEE THE DROPS FALLIN ON THE PORCH. WORTH EVERY DIME I SPEND ON THIS ITEM, THANKS CREATOR.

A decent rain emitter with "splash effect" on the ground. The Radius of the splash/ripples can't
be changed, but have a relatively good size that can be considered realistic. This effect looks
best on rather dark, flat surfaces like concrete/asphalt(<3), but looks even good on grass
textures with mesh meadow when it's not too dense. The HUD itself got split into a basic(included) and "advanced" version that is sold separately. You need this extra HUD in order to enable rain sound in general, rain speed, density and effects like glow(actually not that great, useless in "foggy" areas), opacity(actually not much of a use) and volume of the rain. I'm actually not quite sure if the sound file itself is already included. If so, then it's actually a questionable sales tactic, and being "inconvenient" towards the customer because this package can be seen as not complete without the Extended HUD (lowers my rating).
I tested* the crap out of this emitter and the results* are quite good, which is actually no surprise.
-Adds a tiny bit of lag*, but not worth to mention(same as every other structured written mono script emitter).
-Looks good in several places, still average performance on laggy* sims(same as every other structured written mono script emitter).
-Comes in reasonable sizes that help to arrange your rain (SL Particles penetrate prims due to an outdated game engine, so make sure you leave out your house etc. when placing it. Otherwise, your carpet gets wet!).
-The price is 195 L$ + [DDD] Simplest Rain Extended HUD 95 L$ (march, 18. 2022).

It's a good product and a nice addition to your property no matter what theme(I personally use it on a flat animated water surface, which looks very nice!).
So Me and Sir Patrick Stuart can recommend this
