For the Breeder's Choice Mesh Horse Avatar Riding System*... 4 sidesaddle riding animations!
Easy to follow (updated) instructions for the new riding system (2015). As well as pre made notecards for the older systems so all you have to do is switch out the old for the new. If you have an updated system the notecards (other than INSTRUCTIONS) can be deleted.
I'm not claiming to have made a perfect set. I researched riding positions and did the best I could with my present knowledge in QAvimator. Seemed there wasn't suppose to be a lot of bounce or change in posture so.. .mine were only slight as well with the different speeds. And the sitting animation will work for both your static as well as your walking animation. So you get 4 animations. But will be using them to replace 5 in your riding system.
And like the original system I did not make for positions for jumping, So for jumping/prejumping etc I just used the static sitting.
There is also a Waterhorse Side Saddle Riding System kit for the SCULPTED WH (not mesh). So look for that in the store if you have that avatar as well. :)

Ive always loved sidesaddle riding and was happy to find these animations! It is pretty easy to set it up for the new bc quarter horse 2.0 as well! All I had to do was change the names of the animations included to be the same as the animations in the system and switch them out :)
Do wish they werent stiff but still incredibly pleased!
Moddable with a little work for the WHML
I was very happy with the version I got for my BCMQH, and after reading the instructions, felt I could try out a modification with the WHML avatar's riding system as well. If you are comfortable editing notecards, this is fairly easy (and even if not, not to worry! The riding systems are copy, so you can always start over with a new rezzed version).
Instead of switching out the notecards as directed in the kit, simply rename all the rider's animations in the existing notecards in the Contents tab of the riding system. (Make sure of course to copy over the riding animations as well or it won't work). You will notice that there are fewer notecards to edit for the WH system than for the BCMQH. Huzzah!
There is only one issue: your rider will have to adjust their sitting height when they get on, or they will be sitting under you with their head in your stomach, but this is an easily remedied problem with the use of the riding system's adjustment menu. A more permanent solution will likely involve using the free and open source Sit Target Helper.
A big thank you to Lita Christenson for putting the effort and time in to making this system and for her very timely and thoughtful response to my findings on using this for the WHML horse for which this was not originally intended. :)
